Senior DevOps Automation Engineer
- Salary Range: Up to £100,000
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hybrid Model: Mostly remote (ad-hoc to Central London office eg 2 days per month)

About the Role:
My client, a leading UK based IT Services & Consulting organisation require 2 x highly experienced DevOps Engineers to join their world-class Development team on a permanent basis. The engineers will initially be placed into a major project with a globally operating financial services end-client. Candidates will require extensive experience of DevOps Automation, Infrastructure-As-Code and CI/CD based engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps & Automation Engineering
- Configuration of Ansible & Ansible Tower
- Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) development & deployment (YAML)
- Development and maintenance of CI/CD Pipelines
- Integration, deployment and development of infrastructure using Python/Powershell
- Optimisation, testing & validation and troubleshooting environments (when necessary)
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Strong professional DevOps/DevSecOps background in major organisations (ideally financial sector)
- SME knowledge of Automation
- In-depth knowledge of Ansible & Ansible Tower
- Extensive understanding and hands-on experience Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) development & deployment (YAML)
- Demonstrable experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Strong skills in PowerShell or Python
- Experience with GitHub and Jira
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS highly desirable)
