Senior Developer

You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. My client is looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join their team to deliver enhancements and new applications to support a range of teams including: Actuarial, Claims, Finance and HR. You will work across the full stack to build highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and business growth.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop new features and infrastructure in support of business and project requirements
• Ensure application performance, uptime, scale and maintain high standards of code quality and application design
• Operational support of existing applications with the portfolio
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning

Requirements:

• Extensive experience building large-scale software applications
• Expert knowledge of Python, C# and SQL
• Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
• Insurance industry background ideally London Market/Reinsurance
• Re-factoring of legacy applications
