Job Description

Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer

12-months Maternity Cover
c.£29,217 per annum
Hybrid Working, North Kent Based, Full Time/ Part Time

The Talent Set is delighted to partner with a specialist hospice in North Kent, dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing the hospice s plans to generate new and sustainable income from businesses and create purposeful partnerships. In this varied role, they will be responsible for identifying new sponsorship and business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and expanding growth with existing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the purposeful Partnerships approach alongside the Corporate Partnerships team, focusing on sustainable and impactful corporate partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and sponsors through effective stewardship and account management.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure partners have the resources needed for internal and external promotion of partnerships.
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships team in budgeting, planning, and executing fundraising activities, sponsorships, and campaigns.
  • Contribute to major upcoming fundraising projects by actively engaging and building relationships with potential sponsors.
  • Monitor industry trends, identify new partnership opportunities, and represent the charity at networking events to enhance brand exposure.
  • Confidently deliver presentations to engage and inspire potential and existing corporate partners to support our cause.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in corporate new business development, including lead generation, account management, and achieving income targets, or relevant transferable experience from other income-generating streams.
  • Strong project and or event management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills, with experience collaborating with marketing and communications teams.
  • Highly organised, able to manage a varied workload, and skilled in using Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, and adaptable, with a positive, proactive approach and willingness to attend events outside regular hours.
