Location: Ann Tayler Children and Family Hub
We are looking to appoint a Senior Children's Centre Officer to join our outstanding team to improve the outcomes for children in Hackney. Your role will be to lead and manage the Childcare element of one of the largest Children's Centre in Hackney, Ann Tayler Children's Centre. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, meeting the statutory requirements set out in the EYFS and ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive and make accelerated progress in our outstanding and well resources Nursery. This role has line management responsibility for a number of Room Leads and is responsible for supporting all staff in the Nursery to develop as outstanding practitioners.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and innovative leader for this position to continue to drive forward an already outstanding staff team. Significant professional experience of working within a culturally diverse educational childcare environment is essential. You must have good interpersonal, and relationship building skills and possess good assessment skills.
An NVQ3 qualification in childcare learning & development or higher is essential for this role. You will be required to work flexible hours as the centre operates a shift system.
