Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Application Support Analyst to join their dynamic ICT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the applications development life cycle, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work effectively under pressure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to produce high-standard support documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with business customers, software suppliers, and colleagues to resolve complex issues.
- Manage incidents, requests, and change controls through the Service Desk.
- Develop and maintain support documentation to a high standard.
- Work independently and as part of a team within the wider ICT department.
- Utilize a clear and logical approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
- Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent level qualification or experience.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
