This role is hybrid working pattern, you will be required to be onsite in our Glasgow Office once a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Apps team supports a number of applications and digital services that are very high profile and critical to the customer, we are looking for a senior developer to join the team that is enthusiastic, likes problem solving and challenges, hardworking and likes to be part of a team. The success of this team is that everyone works together. The applications are interesting, varied, complex and always evolving to use the latest technology, comply with legislation and standards to meet the ever-changing needs of our customer.
Key Tasks:
• Provide detailed analysis of system defects as and when required.
• Involved in root cause analysis and problem investigations.
• Understand and adhere to quality and security standards and processes applicable to role.
• Identify and implement service improvements.
• Actively participate in team meetings, scrums or equivalent.
• Interact with key client stake holders in regular forums like weekly, adhoc, project calls to understand the current challenges and input these in conversations with vendors, 3rd parties.
• Ensure the security, data integrity, availability, and performance of supported application environments, whilst identifying, communicating, and/or reducing risk where possible.
• Play a key role in development of a new product for the client.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience using: Net, C#,Websphere, MVC,Delphi.
• Experience in developing Apple IOS Apps.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management tool chains.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Programming using automation eg DevOpsApplications.
Desired Skills:
• Experience of working in high value projects as a technical resource.
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Framework.
• Performance Management.
