About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and technical product account management. You will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with large business clients while driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless execution of deliverables. If you are passionate about building and nurturing client relationships, while managing complex technical products for key CPG clients, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management & Relationship Building: Establish, grow, and maintain strategic partnerships with large business clients in the CPG sector.
  • Understand Industry Needs: Gain a deep understanding of clients' industries, competitors, and market pressures to shape tailored propositions that drive growth and success.
  • Strategic Account Growth: Drive new business within existing accounts and contribute to business development efforts with a focus on technical products.
  • Financial Management: Ensure that revenue and profitability targets are met through effective financial oversight, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with delivery managers, technical teams, and other departments to ensure seamless execution and maintain high levels of service delivery.
  • Client Reporting & Reviews: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), address client challenges proactively, and ensure client satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Problem Solving & Escalation Management: Identify and resolve any challenges within the client relationship, ensuring a smooth and successful partnership.
  • Travel: Be available to travel for client meetings as required, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or consultative selling, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale accounts involving technical products or solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver on high expectations.
