About the Role

We are looking for a Senior 4G/5G Voice core Expert, with experience in Nokia IMS/SDM implementation to assist the Client in monitoring and managing the vendor during a major IMS/SDM upgrade. This role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and experience in planning and migrating IMS and Voice Core solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the implementation of the IMS/SDM upgrade for the Client.

  • Ensure that the project adheres to technical specifications and timelines.

  • Plan and coordinate migration and deployment of new IMS features.

  • Handle InterconnecT and SIP trunking, including integration with Microsoft solutions.

  • Ensure stable operations and provide troubleshooting support during and after the upgrade.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize the solution.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IMS/SDM Core technologies (preferably from an operator or vendor such as Nokia, Ericsson, or Huawei).

  • Knowledge of Nokia's IMS solutions and experience with upgrades/migrations.

  • VoLTE (Voice Over LTE), VoWiFi (Voice Over WiFi), og 5G Voice (VoNR - Voice Over New Radio).

  • Strong understanding of SIP, SIP Trunking, and InterconnecT solutions.

  • Experience with voice service migration in an operator environment.

  • Experience in coordinating technical projects and working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in English (Scandinavian languages are a plus).

Preferred Background

  • Experience from a telecom operator or vendor, preferably in a Voice Core/IMS role.

  • Technical background in telecommunications, networking, or VoIP.

  • Experience working in a DevOps/CI-CD, Kubernetes. Red Hat OpenShift setup, plus & MantaRay NM is a plus.
