SEND Teaching Assistant Bexley INDCB
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a highly rated Primary School in Bexley. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work in an enriching environment and make a meaningful impact on young SEND students.
About the Role:
- Start Date: September
- Contract type: Long term, full-time, temporary contract until July 2025.
- Pay: £95.00 £105.00 per day (holiday pay included).

- Collaborating with SEND Educational & Behavioural specialists, enhancing your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
- CPD is provided in the form of frequent mentoring and training sessions tailored for SEND Teaching Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-to-one with vulnerable students, covering a variety of SEND needs as a Teaching Assistant.
- Develop & implement a variety of support strategies and interventions specified for students with SEND.
- Monitor & report on students progress throughout the school year, adapting your support strategies where appropriate.
Essential Requirements:
- Sound understanding of SEND behaviours, interventions and strategies, with previous experience in a relevant field.
- A passion for creating an enriching experience for all involved in a SEND academic environment.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
