Job Description

Location: Waltham Abbey (Head Office)

Sector: Construction

Hours: Monday - Friday (09:30 - 18:00) - office based

Dates Required: 07/10/24 - 14/11/24 (approx)

Hill Group are looking for a Secretary on a 12-month, maternity cover FTC, based in our Head Office in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

You will be working as part of a team providing providing professional secretarial support for Head Office and relevant Site based staff.

Role Scope:

  • Work alongside a team of 6 Secretaries
  • Provide a first-class front of house service to visitors & staff
  • Greet visitors in a professional polite manner and ensure they sign in
  • Answer switchboard efficiently and redirect calls (approx. 50 calls a day)
  • Maintain a professional front of house image and well presented
  • Provide visitors and board meetings with refreshments
  • Receive deliveries & inform recipient
  • Book meeting rooms & manage diaries
  • Book couriers
  • Process incoming post
  • Typing
  • Data entry
  • Printing, photocopying, letter folding & binding
  • Prepare outgoing post
  • Responsible for recording, tracking and preparing Contracts, Subcontract Orders, Warranties & Appointments
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties as and when required
