Scrum Master

Our client a large and well known utilities company is actively looking to hire a Scrum Master to work on a large 18 month transformation programme of works along side the PM's & Key Stakeholders.

Location: Durham / Hybrid Working (2 Days Per Week/Fortnight) - Potentially negotiable for the right candidate

Rate: Negotiable Depending on experience - Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Duration: 6 Months (18 month Programme)

Duties:

• Monitor & report on KPIs related to agile project practice and team performance ensuring continuous improvements
• Identify & mitigate risks early in the development process
• Develop and maintain the teams DevOps environment and embed agile approaches, working with the Programme Manager
• Run daily stand ups with the team and support issue / blocker resolution working with key stakeholder
• Organise and run stakeholder workshops to facilitate alignment across business functions and technology product areas (scrum of scrums)

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Experience in Capital Delivery / Engineering / Construction or Utilities Sector would be preferable.
• Certified Scrum Master - ideal but not essential
• Experienced Scrum Master
• Experience in working within a bi-modal IT environment (ITIL and scaled agile frameworks preferable)
• Experience of Agile / Systems V Projects preferable
• Experience of engaging varied stakeholders to embed working practices and drive alignment across stakeholders group is essential (Scrum of scrums experience)
• Good communication skills, comfortable running stakeholder workshops (including senior stakeholders)
