School Porter

Commencing ASAP

We are looking to hire a Porter to join our friendly and dynamic team. The role covers a wide range of porter duties, reception cover, as well as ensuring compliance with the health and safety building regulations.

The Porter will play an important role in looking after the St Paul's Juniors estate, helping to keep it in great condition while interacting with visitors, staff, and pupils. We are looking for a person who can stay professional, friendly, and confident in all situations. A smart appearance and strong people skills are important, as this role involves representing the school's values every day.

Salary: Competitive plus benefits.

Working hours:

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday with shifts ranging from 7.00 - 16.00 and 10.00 - 19.00.
  • Weekend working hours - Saturdays only, 8.00 - 15.00 on a two-week rotation basis with the Head Porter and SPS Porter.
  • On-call duty requirements 1 week a month.
