Do you have experience as an Attendance Officer with strong organisational and interpersonal skills? Join our team as an Attendance Officer a prestigious school in Haringey, London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor student attendance ensuring that accurate records are kept for all students
- Follow up on and contact parents or guardians regarding student absences, late arrivals, and early departures.
- Generate attendance reports and identifying patterns or concerns related to student attendance.
- Handle attendance policies and enforce the school's attendance policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and school guidelines.
- Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and school leadership to identify students regarding poor attendance, and develop strategies to improve student engagement and attendance.
Key Requirements:
- A degree or relevant qualification to support the responsibilities of this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of MIS systems, particularly SIMS, is desirable.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide others and respond effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
- Strong work ethic and professional communication skills.
- Provide exceptional support all staff and students alike.
