We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Scheme Manager in Warrington, working 35 hours per week and hourly rates of up to £18.94 per hour. This is an ongoing, temporary position with temp to perm potential.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality housing management services across Older Peoples Services throughout your working week and may be required to travel to other locations on occasion to support colleagues, so a driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential to be successful in the role.
This is a retired Living Scheme which actively supports the Housing Associations' vision and is reflective of older people's aspirations.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of customers is managed, maintaining regular contact and completing morning calls, ensuring all required actions are completed.
- Ensuring your scheme complies with health & safety legislation, carrying out risk assessments, routine fire safety checks and reporting, recording and managing all incidents through to completion.
- Allocations, lettings, viewings and signups.
- Low level ASB and arrears management.
- Maintaining a positive environment for resident engagement, including arranging, promoting and leading at customer meetings, ensuring feedback is listened to and responded to in line with customer values.
- Effective partnership working with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Providing basic advice and guidance in relation to benefits.
- Responding to informal complaints and general enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Knowledge of Older People's housing management legislation and principles of housing & tenancy management.
- Experience of working in a similar role/setting, ideally within older people's housing and delivering key housing & tenancy management functions.
- Ability to work alone and prioritise workload, and work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of people.
