SC Cleared Enterprise Architect

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect (Inside IR35) for a 24 month contract based 2-3 days per week in any MOJ office.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

Key requirements:
. Review and feed back on supplier issued designs including network architecture, cloud computing, ERP, Integrations and IT service management to ensure that the technology framework supports Tech/Security strategy and business operations efficiently and securely.
. Understand the As Is Applications/Integrations landscape and ensure that applications/integrations or the new ERP meet current and future business needs. Facilitate system integration and interoperability.
. Review designs around frameworks for data storage, integration, governance, and analytics, effectively leveraging data assets to support decision-making and provide actionable business insights.
. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for transformation and ensure that the technology solution deployed are in sync with and aligns with business processes and goals.
. Ensure integration of comprehensive cybersecurity measures into the enterprise architecture looking across security protocols related to network security, identity management, and data protection, safeguarding the organisation against cyber threats.
. Ensuring the solution addresses business challenges. Ensure that the solution adheres to the enterprise architecture principles and meets both functional and non-functional requirements, enabling seamless system integration.
. Review and feedback on architecture designs and provide strategic recommendations to enhance technological capabilities.
