Job Title: SC Cleared Chief Data Architect - Remote UK Based
Location: Remote UK
Salary/Rate: Up to £518 a day Insdie IR35
Start Date: 07/10/24
Job Type: 3 month contract (with scope to extend)
Client Introduction
I am currently looking for a new SC Cleared Chief Data Architect to join our client in the Government and Defence industry.
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified and have experience in Architecture and Cloud expertise including data management, data governance, data and cyber security.
As well as being well-versed with public sector organisations working practices and have contextual knowledge on business data architecture.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Define data architecture strategy and blueprint for master data management
- Deliver one or two use cases
- Establish data segmentation and risk mitigation framework
- Build data capabilities for data discovery and data management
Delivery Requirement
- To create composable data products reducing risk due to data inconsistencies and inaccuracies.
- To drive organisation change and scale - breaking data siloes
- To mutualise and standardise data ecosystem to support faster change and delivery of data products to business
- Python and SQL for pipeline development
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- Airflow and Docker for orchestration and scheduling
- dbt for Datamodelling and transformation
- AWS data and analytics services, including S3, Athena and Glue
- Power BI and Amazon Quicksight
- Data Hub for Data Catalogue
