Job Title: SAP S/4 MM (Material Management) Specialist

Location: Nuremberg (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 MM Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in full-cycle SAP implementation and rollout projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP MM (Material Management), with strong knowledge of S/4 HANA Procurement and deep integration experience across other SAP modules. This role involves leading module implementations, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring efficient procurement processes for production and non-production materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP S/4 MM implementation and rollout projects, interacting with client Product Owners and Rollout teams.
  • Design, configure, and test the SAP MM module to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee key integration points of SAP MM with other modules, such as PP, QM, eWM, FI/CO, and SD.
  • Leverage expertise in S/4 HANA Procurement for external and intercompany purchasing, including stock transfers and coexistence with R/3 systems.
  • Configure and manage procurement processes for:
    • Production materials with/without integration to Supply.
    • Non-production materials with integration to Coupa.
  • Handle Central Contracts and MM Purchase Pricing functionalities.
  • Ensure successful management of intercompany purchasing, including scheduling agreements and PO/SO relations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP processes with manufacturing business requirements.
  • Manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 15 years in full-cycle SAP implementation and rollout projects.
    • Minimum 10 years in designing, configuring, and testing the SAP MM module.
  • SAP Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of SAP MM module and S/4 HANA Procurement.
    • Experience with external procurement and intercompany purchasing processes.
    • Strong understanding of Central Contracts, MM Purchase Pricing, and Stock Transfer agreements.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Comprehensive understanding of integration points with SAP modules such as PP, QM, eWM, FI/CO, and SD.
  • Business Knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of manufacturing business processes and procurement workflows.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
