SAP FICO PS Functional Consultant

Overview:

A leading multinational manufacturing company is undergoing a major digital transformation, centered around SAP S/4HANA and cutting-edge technologies to optimize business processes and enhance customer experiences. The Digital & Technology team plays a critical role in driving this transformation, ensuring adoption and delivering tangible value across the organization.

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO PS Functional Consultant to support and optimize financial and project systems within a dynamic, project-driven organization. The role is critical in ensuring seamless financial processes, managing system enhancements, and mitigating risks due to current skill shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the SAP FICO/PS SME, overseeing financial and project system functionalities.
• Work closely with finance and IT teams to optimize SAP CO (Controlling) and PS (Project Systems) modules.
• Manage system configurations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, particularly in offshore locations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO & PS modules.
• Strong understanding of project-based financial operations and SAP CO functionalities.
• Experience working in global, multi-location environments.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with experience addressing system skill shortages and risks.
• Fluency in English is required; French or Italian is a plus.
