Job Description

Please note, this role is part time (around 24 hours a week) and 80% remote and 20% onsite Heidelberg, Germany. The client is based in multiple locations in Germany.

Project Description:

The customer, a global automotive and aftermarket supplier, is in the midst of a company-wide business and IT transformation program. While the aftermarket business is already running on S/4HANA, the OE and special application business is not yet on S/4HANA. The aim of the project is to harmonize and standardize these processes in S/4.

In order to reduce complexity, overcome the historical burden, streamline, simplify and digitize processes and application solutions from an end-to-end perspective and consolidate the widespread global system architecture, the customer has set up the S/4 HANA program as a global, joint business and IT transformation.

A Expertise/Requirements:

- SAP Senior Consultant Finance and Controlling - At least 5 years of professional experience

- Experience in greenfield implementations of Finance and Controlling as part of an international S/4 implementation project

- Expertise in legalization topics abroad (USA, China, India, Brazil, Italy, )

- Good knowledge in the implementation of VAT scenarios

- Good knowledge of SAP accounting

o Asset accounting

o GL

o AP/AR

o Banking

o FSCM

- New GL

o Document splitting

o Ledger solution

- Experience with plants abroad (incl. intercompany transfer pricing)

- Good knowledge of the SAP Controlling module

o Overhead Cost Controlling

o Product Costing (incl. S/4 Material Ledger & Actual Costing)

o Profitability Analysis (incl. Experience in Conceptualization of Margin Analysis)

o Profit Center Accounting

o Integration into the project system (CO-PS module)

- Experience with SAP Best Practices

- Experience in leading project teams

- Experience in the automotive industry

- Language: English, German is an advantage
