Role: SAP Data Migration Manager/Consultant

Start Date: 01 April 2025

End Date: 31 December 2025

Location: Hamburg

Capacity: 5 days a week (80% remote work, 20% onsite)

Language: German and English

Job Description:

The candidate will work remote most of the time but will have to join the project team onsite on time-to time basis for critical project phases.
Coordination of data mapping, cleansing and data transfer from the Legacy instance or external sources to S/4
Responsible for coordinating the mapping, cleansing and migration from the Legacy instance or external sources to S/4
Coordination of the mapping definitions by the functional streams for handover to the implementation streams
Ensure data quality including accuracy, integrity, completeness and compliance with business requirements
Define migration demand documents and coordinate efforts to clean, validate, and reconcile data
Develop a data cleansing plan that identifies key milestones, scope and resources necessary to execute the program plan
Align with system integrator, process and tech streams and other stakeholders on planning, data migration progress and risks
Track risks and dependencies and develop contingency plan for risk mitigation
Collaborate with the security teams to ensure that data is stored and transferred in a secure and compliant way
Support local rollout unit in data mapping and cleansing, ie by definition of technical requirements and ensure adherence of adherence of migration activities to compliance
