SAP Basis Consultant - London

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a strong background in SAP HANA, Unix/Linux, and a range of SAP products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven operational expertise in SAP Basis and demonstrated experience in HANA Disaster Recovery, backup and recovery scenarios, performance tuning, and system installations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SAP Basis operational support across multiple SAP landscapes.
• Manage and execute HANA DR activities, including backup/recovery scenarios.
• Conduct HANA performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
• Oversee SAP installations, upgrades, and patching at both the database and application levels.
• Support the following SAP components and solutions:
  • SAP ECC, BW, TM, APO, PI, IBP, C4C, Cloud Connector, Fiori (current projects in S/4 HANA and BW/4 HANA).
• Maintain systems on Unix/Linux platforms, ensuring high availability and robust performance.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• SAP certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP in RISE is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the latest SAP innovations, including SAP S/4 HANA and BW/4 HANA.
• Hands-on experience with Fiori and other cloud-based technologies.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
