Job Description

NEW VACANCY -

I am recruiting for a experienced Road freight operations/ customer service clerk to join their new start up office based in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing freight company and progress in the freight forwarding industry!

You will be trained in the below:

  • Monitoring roadfreight import/ export operations
  • Arranging collections with partners and liaising with overseas offices
  • Updating customers
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
  • Booking ferries
  • Liaising with the transport department to plan deliveries and collections
  • Planning truck runs
  • Handling queries
  • Processing of customs documentation
  • Sending quotes from hauliers to suppliers

Experience needed:

  • Previous groupage operations/ pallet network experience
  • Irish market experience
  • Bright, outgoing and keen to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
