RLS Administrator
Posted 4 hours ago by HAYS
We are currently recruiting for a front of house administrator for a Warrington Independent Living Retirement Village.
This is a wonderful setting for active retirees aged over 55+ to socialise and enjoy their retirement. The ambience of the site is positive and relaxed and existing staff are friendly and supportive. This home is not a supported living site and should have no additional needs for residents.
Your new company
The village has lots of on-site amenities for the residents to engage in and get involved in activities. When you walk into the main entrance, you walk into what they call "the street", which has a corner shop, restaurant/café, bar & lounge area, gym, and hairdressers, which the residents can all use, but they are managed by external companies. The service offers a variety of activities for seniors and includes day trips to help retirees live an active and fulfilling retirement. They are located on the edge of Warrington town centre.
Your new role
As an RLS administrator, you are based at the front reception desk, so will be the front face of the scheme. You will be greeting residents, family members, contractors and will work on a set rota, so the hours are unfortunately non-negotiable and will be either 8am till 2:30pm Monday to Friday one week or 3pm till 8pm Monday to Friday the other week. This is an ongoing temporary post which will go into the new year and the possibility of a permanent position is likely to be advertised. Successful temporary workers will be welcome to apply. You will work alongside other administrators who share the role and report to the Scheme Manager who oversees the building as a whole. You will work on a part-time basis of around 30 hours per week.
Main Duties / Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to general queries from residents & customers via telephone, email or face to face
- Preparing information and sign up packs for new residents
- Health & safety checks, weekly testing of fire doors/alarms
- Assisting residents to log repair requirements
- Arranging meetings for the RLS Officer & Scheme Manager where required
- Basic admin duties - data inputting, file management, ordering stationery or office supplies
What you'll need to succeed
- Flexible approach to work
- Resourceful attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience of working in a front-facing office role within the last 2 years
- Suitable references
What you'll get in return
- Weekly Pay, which includes holiday and pension / national insurance contributions
- Dedicated consultant
- Access to permanent roles
- Free CV writing and interview help / mock interviews
- Up-skilling and training courses
