We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to join a Gen AI Investment Banking project. This role will be 5 days per week in the office.

The project aims to leverage Gen AI technology to assist security penetration testers by providing them with a facility to query a knowledge base of vulnerability testing data, optimizing their existing workflow. The goal is to make penetration testing more efficient and thorough, ultimately enhancing protection against cyber-attacks.

The Agile Scrum Master will lead and direct agile project teams to deliver the defined business outcomes. In this role, they will also serve as the process coach within a cross-functional software development team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to agile values and principles throughout the software development life cycle. The role will involve project setup, collaborating with Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage the backlog, and reporting on project health to senior management. Additionally, the Scrum Master may consult and coach other Scrum Teams, contributing to the development of Agile Scrum processes across various lines of business and with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Agile Process Leadership: Lead and guide agile project teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum values, principles, and practices.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Act as a process coach, helping the team self-organize, raise issues, and remove obstacles. Promote continuous process improvements within the team.

  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage and prioritize the project backlog, ensuring the project is organized and progresses effectively.

  • Project Setup and Reporting: Set up the project, monitor its health, and provide regular updates to senior management on progress and risks.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify risks early, highlight them to the team, and help resolve them to keep the project on track.

  • Collaboration with Multiple Teams: Work with different Scrum Teams and leadership to promote and improve Agile processes across the organization.

Required Skills:
  • Scrum Management Experience: Demonstrable experience in leading Scrum teams and implementing Scrum theory, rules, and practices.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale Agile projects, keeping them on track, within scope, and delivering outcomes on time.

  • Organizational and Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and facilitate team meetings.

  • Leadership and Influence: Experience leading teams, driving efforts, influencing results, and fostering collaboration.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze and address project challenges effectively.

  • Agile Development Understanding: Deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
