Remote Support - Commissioning - TIA/Codesys

One of our partners are looking for multiple engineers with experience of TIA 16, Codesys and commissioning projects for an exciting new phase of their development. Working with this leading Technology giant (Big Four) you'll be part of a new automation line that will change the way they do business. Codesys would be preferred, but Siemens experience with a desire to learn will be considered.

You'll have a solid background in automation and troubleshooting within an industrial environment (E-commerce logistics, Automative, Airlines) where you'll have commercial experience of controls systems, TIA 16+ (and ideally Codesys 3.5, HMI, VFD's, Profinet, IO link)

• Advanced technical expertise in industrial automation systems
• (TIA Portal 16+, Codesys 3.5, HMI, VFDs, Profinet, IO-Link)
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring with TIA Portal 16+
  • Proficiency in Codesys 3.5 (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for complex systems
  • Hands-on experience with camera systems and Linux OS (preferred)

This role will be remote, full time night shift, 7 days split across two Support Engineers. Initially you'll be onsite (UK or EU) working on an installation to ensure you have been hands on and gain a greater understanding. Once complete the role will be fully remote (UK Based), the expectation is an average night will have 1 call (could be more initially) as the process has two stages of fix before it is escalated to you.

You'll be travelling (expensed) to sites in the UK and EU for training on the installation stages and support of new automation lines. Travel can be UK, Spain, Italy, Germany & France, expenses covered, travel during work hours, no additional languages required.

You must be UK based, and able to travel and work in the EU for this role.
