We are currently looking for a Release Train Engineer to join a Generative AI project based in Dublin, this role will be based 5 days per week in the office.

Join an exciting team within Global Information Security (GIS). The Cyber Security Technology (CST) team is responsible for cyber security innovation, architecture, engineering, solutions development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management, and IT security control support.

This role is an experienced servant leader responsible for optimizing workflow and value delivery within the Advanced Technology Solutions team by planning, orchestrating, and managing release events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and coach Agile mindset and principles, enabling a high-performing, cohesive team.

  • Coordinate release execution, define cross-team dependencies, and establish well-structured release schedules aligned with organizational goals.

  • Optimize the flow of epics/features to maximize value delivery.

  • Partner with Product Managers to ensure a well-maintained product/program backlog.

  • Communicate release plans, outcomes, and actions to leadership.

  • Maintain centralized release management tracking, reporting, and escalation processes.

  • Remove delivery impediments, protect teams from disruptions, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop broad knowledge of environments, tools, and processes used for development, testing, and change execution.

  • Collaborate with engineering, development, and testing teams to plan, execute, and deliver changes while maintaining risk control and production stability.

  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters.

  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and policy requirements.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of project management experience with a strong track record of delivering projects/releases on schedule.

  • 7+ years leading large-scale transformation programs involving business process and change.

  • 5+ years of Agile experience in a change agent role.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, concepts, and ceremonies.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Broad knowledge of change management policies, processes, environments, tools, and risk controls.

  • Experience in Release Management.

  • Understanding of SDLC life cycle processes.

  • Experience in both technical and functional capacities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:
  • SAFe SM & RTE certification.

  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

  • Familiarity with ITSM Remedy.

  • Knowledge of relevant security technologies.

  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
