Ofsted Primary Purpose of Job:
As the Regional Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of 10 Residential Children's Homes that use our SEED Care Model to progress the young people within our services.
As the Regional Manager, you will ensure our services comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines while driving continuous improvement in the quality of care provided to the children.
You will serve as the Responsible Individual for each home, overseeing all aspects of operations, staffing, and outcomes.
Ofsted Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Responsible Individual for each of the 10 Residential Children's Homes, ensuring compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance our therapeutic SEED Care Model across the homes, promoting best practices and consistent implementation.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and management of all staff members within the homes, including providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Monitor key performance metrics for the homes, such as child well-being outcomes, staff retention, and family engagement, and develop action plans to address any areas of concern.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure appropriate therapeutic interventions and support services are provided to meet each child's unique needs.
- Embed the company's Three P's - Policies, Processes, and Protocols - and ensure that all employees within your responsibility know and understand them.
- Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as social workers, juvenile justice representatives, and community partners, to coordinate care and advocate for the needs of the children.
- Manage the operational performance of the homes, including developing and overseeing annual budgets.
- Represent the organisation in community events, professional associations, and other forums to promote the SEED Care Model and the organisation's mission.
Ofsted Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 5 Management Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a residential children's home or similar setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of professionals effectively
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make decisions in a complex and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in data analysis and the use of technology to support program management and reporting.
