Fund Accountant - Real Estate, Alternative Investments, Fund Accounting

Our client, a leading investment management firm based in the City of London, is seeking a Real Estate Fund Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will oversee fund accounting for alternative real estate investments, including healthcare, residential, and natural capital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and sign off quarterly financial accounts.
• Manage fund audits, board meetings, and financial reporting.
• Oversee outsourced fund accounting activities.
• Support the setup of investment structures (JPUTs, Limited Partnerships, REITs, SPVs, JVs).
• Drive process improvements, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with investment teams, third-party administrators, and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in real estate fund accounting or private equity.
• Strong knowledge of investment structures and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and process improvement skills.
