Our customer is a leading multinational engineering materials producer and a highly integrated solution provider committed to the sustainable future of polyamides. We are looking to hire in their Application Center located in Leuna, Germany a R&D Project Leader.
Reporting directly to the Automotive market Business Development and Innovation Leader, this role requires a blend of formulation expertise within automotive materials and strong project management skills. The R&D Project Leader will have a pivotal role within the Application Center, focusing on driving projects related to automotive applications in alignment with market segments and project execution strategies.
- Prioritize projects based on market insights and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements
- Coordinate internal resources including Application Development Managers (ADMs), technical experts, lab personnel, and sales/support teams
- Maintain clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Understand the properties required by customers and translate them into actionable product development plans
- Utilize knowledge of polymers, additives, fillers, and other raw materials to optimize product formulations
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving market demands
We are searching for someone with a bachelor s degree in a relevant field (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, etc.). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of polymer materials. Fluency in English and German are a must.
