Freelance Quantity Surveyor needed, Chester area, November Start

Your new company
Our client is a well established and regional Civils Contractor who is currently on the lookout for an experienced and reliable Quantity Surveyor to join its talented commercial team. Based from their offices near Chester, this role is currently for an unknown duration, and you will be overseeing various civil and groundworks projects.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Oversee various civil and groundworks projects of up to £6 million in value
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for civils and groundworks projects
• Manage project finances, including procurement, contracts, and valuations
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing variations and valuations of projects
• Producing CVRs
• Managing final accounts
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

What you require:

• Experience in NEC contracts
• Previous Civils and Groundworks experience
• UK-based contractor experience
