Your new role
As Quality Systems Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring and auditing the quality, hygiene, food safety, and microbiological aspects of manufacturing to ensure compliance with legal, third-party, and customer standards. You will assist the Compliance & Quality Systems Manager in achieving regulatory compliance and provide leadership in quality and compliance standards across the organisation. Key tasks include developing and sustaining the Quality Management System in line with industry standards, conducting audits, managing the audit program, and promoting a culture of compliance through training and coaching.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 12 months of experience in a Quality Assurance function with a strong understanding of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (e.g., BRC or ISO9001). Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Desirable qualities include knowledge of internal auditing and GMP within a BRC manufacturing environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and systematically.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary up to £28k along with a strong benefits package to include company sick pay, health plan, above average pension, profit related pay and more. Your hours of work will be 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 3pm on a Friday.
