Python Developer - Risk

TurleyWay are partnering with a globally reaching organisation focusing on commodities trading and asset management. Utilising cutting edge technology which allows them to leverage their expertise in trading metals, energy products, and agricultural goods.

The role is based out of their central London office and offers a hybrid working environment (3 days a week in the office) with flexibility on working hours.

You will be collaborating in a small dynamic team with the goal of developing and maintaining market systems built using the latest technologies, Python. In this dynamic team you will be given the opportunity to help define their technology landscape.

They are looking for a Developer who can operate with a large degree of autonomy. Taking the lead of the full SDLC; including taking ownership of projects, from understanding requirements, to production deployment and support.

Essential skills:

Minimum 2 years proficiency with Python and affiliated libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Plotly etc).
Experience with Data Processes including ETL processes and Python WebAPI frameworks.
Experience with Commodities or Financial Markets. Including working with Risk modelling software.
Experience of working with Front Office teams.
Familiarity with containerisation tooling including Kubernetes & Docker.
Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).Azure or GCP will be considered.
