Well, a fantastic Secondary School located in the Borough of Islington is seeking a graduate/Psychology Student with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs to join their dedicated and supportive team. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates looking to develop the skills needed for roles in educational therapy, mental health, support work, teaching and more!

We have placed multiple Psychology graduates at this school and have a number of success stories, including graduates who went onto become fully qualified Educational Psychologists!

Psychology Placement Opportunity Role

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
  • Perfect for completing Psychology Placement Year

Psychology Placement Opportunity Job Specifications

  • Based in Islington
  • Working in an Outstanding Secondary school
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (term time only)
  • £105 - £110 daily rate
  • ASAP 2024 Start

The Ideal Psychology Placement Opportunity

  • A hardworking graduate/Student with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Non-Verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
