Hays are recruiting for a permanent Conveyancing Assistant. This role is for a legal business based in Salford Manchester and is fully office-based.
Your new role
You will be responsible for full administrative support for a fee earner based out of the Manchester office. You will answer and field calls, take messages, draft documents, write letters, assist with client care, you will be responsible for diary and email management, you will open and close files, you will deal with third parties, keep the case management system up to date, chase various documentation, deal with post exchange matters, prepare the conveyancing process, you must have experience with stamp duty and land registration applications, you will be responsible for all post and any other duties required via the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous conveyancing experience within legal or property. You will be a strong communicator, you will have excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work unaided and comfortable working 5 days within the office. You will have knowledge of Land Registry Act/Stamp duty.
