Aufgaben

• Leading and managing a multidisciplinary engineering team, reporting hierarchically to the Project Director/Area Manager for the power plant.
• Serving as the primary liaison with the Client and EPCM Contractor on technical, legal, and contractual matters.
• Overseeing the development and implementation of the power plant project.
• The Project Manager assigned to the site will remain until the project's successful completion (approximately 42 months).
• Responsible for all contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
• Experience in power plant tendering is an advantage.
• Ensures that all work aligns with contract specifications, coordinating activities between contractors and the employer.
• Managing project progress, monitors schedules, and addresses any delays.
• Approving key deliverables and makes decisions on technical and commercial matters.
• Initiating contract modifications and claims against contractors.

Profil

• In-depth knowledge of gas turbines, project management, and related disciplines.
• Work experience with power plant consultants, EPC/EPCM contractors, and gas turbine OEMs.
• Strong background in tendering, contract management, and plant performance, particularly in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to execute site-based projects successfully.
• Multilingual skills beneficial for handling EPC/EPCM projects.
• Extensive construction knowledge.
• Over 15 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 10 years as a Project Manager.
• Hands-on experience with EPCM contracts in power plant projects.
• Must have consultancy experience as a Project Manager for power plants of 350 MW and above.
• Mandatory experience in GCC/UAE.
• At least 10 years in a managerial role.
• Proven leadership in multicultural project environments.
• Experience in a similar level of responsibility (including deputy roles) on at least three major international projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's in the power sector is a plus).
• Degree attestation from MOFA required.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Client-oriented approach, with sensitivity to client requirements.
