CK QLS are working with a leading Global Pharmaceutical company, based in Neuchatel, Switzerland, to recruit a skilled Project Manager, to lead and manage technology transfer (TT) projects with a focus on Brazil, driving communication and collaboration between local and global teams.
Job Summary:
As the Project Manager for Technology Transfer (TT), you will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the Brazilian Local Project Management team and the global teams. Your primary role will be to ensure the flawless execution, communication, and escalation of all activities related to the technology transfer process. You will lead the development and implementation of project timelines, track deliverables, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project goals and timelines.

CK QLS are working with a leading Global Pharmaceutical company, based in Neuchatel, Switzerland, to recruit a skilled Project Manager, to lead and manage technology transfer (TT) projects with a focus on Brazil, driving communication and collaboration between local and global teams.
Job Summary:
As the Project Manager for Technology Transfer (TT), you will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the Brazilian Local Project Management team and the global teams. Your primary role will be to ensure the flawless execution, communication, and escalation of all activities related to the technology transfer process. You will lead the development and implementation of project timelines, track deliverables, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Project Manager (PM) for Technology Transfer, ensuring the smooth flow of information and project execution between the Brazilian local PM team, the sending unit, and the global process owner.
- Support the development of global project timelines and ensure alignment with the endorsed TT strategy.
- Provide clear visibility on both short- and long-term deliverables, ensuring transparency with the sending unit.
- Develop a detailed activity plan for the sending unit and establish KPIs to measure performance.
- Identify resource needs for the sending unit and align resource allocation with the sending unit Sponsor, coordinating with the project team.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks proactively, and propose risk mitigation strategies, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain and update the project risk register and drive mitigation strategies to address any identified risks.
- Document and track any changes to the established TT strategy, seeking approval for any necessary adjustments.
- Organize and support training activities at the receiving unit, ensuring readiness for the transfer.
- Schedule and lead regular project reviews and technical meetings with the sending unit and global teams.
- Support project status reporting to leadership teams, ensuring alignment on goals and progress.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Project or Program Management, particularly in technology transfer processes.
- Knowledge or expertise in CMC/Technology Transfer, with a preference for experience in Large Molecule areas.
Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Strong leadership skills in complex, global, and matrix environments, promoting collaboration within teams.
- Expertise in Project Management tools/platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, MS360).
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to working in a global setting.
- Cultural openness and adaptability when working across diverse global teams.

- Provide clear and concise communication, translating complex technical information for various stakeholders (internal teams, management, external partners).
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, gather relevant data to inform decision-making, and prioritize tasks to avoid delays.
- Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Adapt to changes, adjust plans and strategies based on new information, and remain flexible when dealing with ambiguity.
- Utilize effective cross-cultural communication skills in diverse settings.
- Identify challenges or potential issues early and develop solutions to address them quickly.
Internal and External Contacts:
- Internal: Cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Quality), Senior Management, Global Process Owner, Brazilian Local PM Team.
- External: External partners, vendors, and stakeholders involved in the technology transfer process.
Other Job Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to Brazil as required for project coordination.
- Professional fluency in English is essential; fluency in French or Portuguese would be a plus.
