Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer

We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Location: Nottinghamshire, Worksop - some working from home is available.

Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

Asan Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Severn Trent contract team, supporting them in providing electrical engineering experience for industrial projects with particular emphasis on the water recycling industry.

Your day to day will include:

  • Establishing client requirements and delivering the operation of engineering design solutions.
  • Preparing contractual documentation.
  • Procurement of materials.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain and support the contractor delivery and Design
  • Applying technical judgment and resourcefulness to the construction phase of the project.

What are we looking for?

This role of an Electrical Project Engineer is great for you if:

  • A minimum HNC qualified in electrical engineering
  • Experience in design on capital projects.
  • A good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V
  • An understanding of switchgear design including discrimination calculations and protection devices
  • A knowledge of G5/5 (or G5/4)
