As part of a small team you ll play a key role running the office day to day to support all aspects of Bridewell Gardens operations. You ll work with volunteers to give administrative support to the team, speak with people who are referred to the service and with professionals who make referrals.
You ll work closely with the Recovery Service Manager and Director to consider future developments of the service and to ensure best practice in service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement systems so that administrative activities are efficient and effective
- Keep project monitoring and evaluation data up to date
- Speak with referrers and people accessing the service to support new referrals and to answer enquiries
- Support the day to day management of the team s calendar to allow for smooth running of the service
- Work with freelance suppliers to maintain accounts, to process payments, supplier invoices, expenses and record income
- Oversee day to day office administration procurement, servicing of equipment, ordering supplies, booking training
- Keep policies and procedures up to date with input from the team
- Support Director and Recovery Service Manager in identifying and developing new services and partnerships for service delivery
- Oversee and manage office volunteers to support administrative activities
On an average day you will:
- Respond to referral enquiries, book in appointments, share new referral details with the team, update monitoring and evaluation reports
- Work with volunteers to provide administrative support to the team as required
- Speak with the Recovery Service Manager to manage the diary of activities

This is a part-time position, 21 hours per week. There is flexibility in the location and how the hours of this role are worked. The role works very closely with the Recovery Service Team and Director and regular face to face working is required. The role will involve occasional travel locally and occasional weekend work for events.
