We are currently recruiting for a Project and Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team where you will be rolling out, embedding and continually improving one of our key growth programmes 'Your Way'

This role is required to support both the on-time and in-full delivery of the Your Way roll out plan as well as defining and delivering Continuous Improvement projects within this to improve our return

You will work with a strong group of SME's across the business, and within our Operations team, to deliver the roll out plan and support the identification and creation of an on-going programme of CI.

This role will be responsible for managing the on-time and in full delivery of the roll out, and CI elements of the programme, working alongside the Director of Commercial Strategy who will be accountable for managing the programme as a whole. The roles must work together to ensure successful delivery

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure that the Your Way programme project plan is set up to deliver the agreed roll out plan and business requirements and implement this successfully
  • Creation, coordination, and management of the project plan to achieve on time delivery
  • Management of project scope and any budget aligned to ensure delivery in full and to budget
  • Accurate completion of all documentation associated with the project in line with Brakes Project Governance e.g., Business Case, RAID log, and Project reporting
  • Leading all the internal communication to the key Your Way stakeholders across the business for each Neighbourhood and the programme as whole. Delivering these updates when needed through relevant meeting
  • Agreeing the correct meeting cadence aligned to the programme, scheduling and facilitating project meetings to ensure all activities are on track
  • Identifying, managing, and proposing mitigations to project risks, issues, delays, and shortfalls to keep impact to on time, in full delivery to budget to a minimum
  • Identification of any CI needed to improve performance based on feedback from the SME team, project team and performance results
  • Management of all CI through from identification to successful delivery - working with the relevant business SMEs to create the solution
  • Managing all communication and updates to the YW team on any CI to ensure this is clear, understood and implemented
  • Managing major programme go/no go gates to ensure control and business approval
  • Provide frequent and relevant reporting including KPI's on status and performance for each project, including regular updates to key stakeholders so they are aware of the projects status and are clear on support needed to maximise the likelihood of on time delivery, in full and to budget

What we are looking for;

  • Proven experience delivering change or growth programmes
  • Ability to put framework and structure around a defined programme
  • Able to take complex tasks & ideas and break down into logical simple activities
  • Ability to identify opportunities for CI, or take those identified by others
  • Ability to deliver CI through SMEs from concept to successful execution
  • Experience with stakeholder management and business engagement
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Organised and meticulous
  • Experience of working remotely and across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to work with SMEs to deliver a positive outcome
