Programme Delivery Manager/VP of Global IT - Clinical QMS

Programme Delivery Manager/VP of Global IT required by a Pharmaceutical Organisation/CRO. You will need to have prior experience of QMS/eQMS used in a clinical setting, ideally for clinical trials. Experience of implementing and managing clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic data capture (EDC), electronic Trial Master Files (eTMF) and clinical research systems is highly desirable. You will be responsible for driving the overall IT strategy, ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with the companys global business objectives. You will be a strategic partner to the leadership teams, driving business capabilities and project/programme delivery from a technology perspective. In addition, this position will provide strategic oversight of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology-driven innovation, while supporting the effective use of technology across all regions. The role will focus Project and Programme Management, delivering optimised IT systems to enhance operational efficiency and ensure data security across multiple jurisdictions.

The role contains both hands-on and hands-off components, which necessitates a technical leadership capability balanced with refined team management skills. We need someone who is decisive with the initiative to take action, someone who asks forgiveness rather than permission. Demonstrable understanding of service management is fundamental but we need someone who comes from a Clinical Project Delivery background, devising strategy and delivery roadmaps. You will need knowledge of GxP compliance and computer system validation (CSV) as well as a background in Project Management and Delivery Management.

The VP of Global IT will report directly to the executive leadership team and play a key role in shaping the companys technology landscape, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable systems.
