Our client, a civil engineering and infrastructure specialist company is looking for a Procurement Manager to join them on a permanent basis in Walsall.
You will lead the procurement of materials, plant, and equipment for their construction projects. In this role, you'll ensure timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee procurement of materials and plant equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to standards.
Manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and value for money.
Monitor performance metrics (savings, deliveries, supplier performance).
Negotiate terms with suppliers for goods, services, and plant equipment.
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to develop procurement strategies.
Assist with tender pricing and supplier evaluations.
Lead and mentor the procurement team.

Requirements:
Experience in procurement management within construction.
Strong budget management and negotiation skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team.
