The perfect candidate owns a degree as a process engineer and has proven work experience for operating manufacturing equipment and analytical instruments. Additionally, the candidate has a strong Aptitude for data analysis and interpretation with programming skills to automate recurring analyses and script longer term process monitoring and control. Lastly, the person communicates proficiently in both English and German.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Working in an interdisciplinary team of engineers to develop and improve manufacturing processes for thick film sensors
• Collection, analyses, and assessment of production and process control data and complement with additional analytical measurements
• Support and run experimental studies for the sensor and process development, including planning, coordination, hands-on execution, and reporting of results
• Contribute to the definition and documentation of the manufacturing processes and process control measures (eg pFMEA, flowcharts, manufacturing and test specifications)
• Support the project team to ensure project deliverables, quality, and timeline

Requirements:

• Completed technical training as process engineer, material scientist, or similar education
• Strong Aptitude for data analysis and interpretation with programming skills to automate recurring analyses and script longer term process monitoring and control
• Proven work experience for operating manufacturing equipment and analytical instruments
• Work experience in medical device industry or a comparable regulated environment is preferred
• Good communication skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment

Language:

• English fluency (C1/C2 Level)
• German fluency (C1/C2 Level)
