Principal Statistical Programmer Leading CRO Home Based Permanent

Award winning global CRO have a new opportunity for a Principal Statistical Programmer to join their dynamic and expanding team. This is a fully home-based position.

This is a Statistical Programming leadership role with responsibility for one high complexity programming project or at least two moderate complexity studies. You will be involved in effective resource planning, work allocation and progress tracking to ensure project timelines and quality targets are consistently achieved. In this client-facing role where you will invest in building long-term relationships with clients.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as overall Programming Lead for a complete program of studies for a small / moderate project.
  • Serve in a client-facing capacity that demonstrates an ability to anticipate client needs and implement innovative solutions, as appropriate.
  • Develop and foster client relationships through effective project management and communication.
  • Plan and implement resources, task allocation and tracking of workload.
  • Create complex programs (such as project or departmental macros) to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Create analysis dataset specifications (ADaM or client-specific) to an exceptional standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Support Business Development activities, including participation in sponsor calls and meetings.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree, in a quantitative or scientific discipline, or local equivalent.
  • In-depth proven relevant experience of successfully leading multiple projects in parallel or exceptional technical capability, including ability to develop broad-use technical solutions for the department.
  • Serve in a client-facing capacity that demonstrates an ability to anticipate client needs and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience working in Oncology or Immunology.
  • Experience of leading a programming team to manage timelines, resources, and overall quality in a client-facing capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of the types of risks associated with a study and the impact on key parameters, such as study timelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of data structures (e.g., CDISC SDTM, ADaM), software development lifecycle and their implementation.
  • Experience with ISS / ISE and submissions.
