Our client is rapidly expanding their Historic Environment Team and seeking ambitious Principal-Level Historic Environment Consultants. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in archaeology and heritage looking to advance their careers on major development projects. You can be based in the Edinburgh, Norwich or Cambridge office or work remotely with some required office attendance, offering flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultancy advice, including the production and management of desk-based assessments and heritage statements.
- Lead and contribute to EIA teams, especially for large-scale residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects.
- Author Cultural Heritage Environmental Statements and provide evidence for planning appeals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, commercially focused advice.
- Support business development as part of the company's regional and national growth strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in archaeology and heritage consultancy at a senior level.
- Strong understanding of local and national planning policy and legislation.
- Experience with public inquiries is desirable.
- Commercial awareness and motivation to take on new challenges.
- Willingness to travel across the UK; a full driving license and access to a car are essential.
