As a Principal Data Architect, you will have a comprehensive perspective across the entire organization, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives and empowering the business to fully leverage the potential of data and analytics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing crucial data capabilities, along with the roadmaps and strategies for data management and analytics platforms across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the data strategy, working with senior stakeholders and IT leaders to drive enterprise-wide data management and analytics.
• Own and manage the enterprise data model, data flows, and metadata systems.
• Create and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, taxonomies, and catalogs to ensure a consistent language for business terms and metrics.
• Set and enforce data governance, quality, access, storage, security, and integration standards across the organization.
• Drive data collection and integration to support AI and ML initiatives.
• Promote best practices for data interoperability and integration across the enterprise.
• Define IT data strategies, blueprints, and guidelines to deliver compliant data solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with architects to align solutions with data architecture and business strategies.
• Maintain data architecture standards, ensuring alignment with security, development, and infrastructure guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive expertise in data, data management, and technology across business areas like data platforms, financial, legal, HR, contact management, and policy administration systems.
• Strong experience in cloud data management, integration, analytics, and machine learning, particularly with Azure.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to define business needs, develop data strategies, and create roadmaps and guidelines to ensure quality in products and projects.
• Skilled in translating technical concepts between software engineering, delivery management, and service management teams.
• Proven ability to make effective decisions, resolve technical disputes, and transform business challenges into technical solutions.
• Experience in transitioning architecture and data capabilities from a project to a product-focused, agile approach.
