Contract type: Part-time Temporary Salary: £140.28 - £180.56 per day Location: Tower Hamlets, East London Start date: September 2024
We are currently hiring Primary School Teachers, both newly qualified and experienced, to meet the increasing demand for daily cover in various outstanding schools across Tower Hamlets and East London. What you'll be doing as a Supply Teacher: Lesson delivery: Carry out the absent teacher's lesson plan, ensuring students continue their learning Classroom management: Promote good behaviour and engagement in class Assessment: Proctor exams and quizzes, collect assignments, and maintain student records Teaching: Lead lessons using presentations, textbooks, and other materials Supervision: Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and detention periods
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Up-to-date enhanced DBS on the update service Enthusiasm and adaptability Experience teaching across at least one Primary Key Stage Excellent classroom management skills
