Hays Education is currently recruiting reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work in various primary schools across Bristol. These roles are for supply cover, providing opportunities to work in some of the best primary schools in North Bristol. We are looking for primary school teachers who can build lasting relationships with these schools. Many of our supply teachers have gone on to secure long-term and even permanent placements through Hays, making this a great way to connect with schools in your area. Using our industry-leading Hays Hub, you can inform your consultant of your availability and be scheduled for work on those days. Many schools in this area request morning or afternoon supply work, making this role perfect for those with a varying schedule.
Your new role
This role can be either full-time or part-time, and it is ideal for those with a passion for teaching across multiple primary schools. Schools are looking for candidates with strong and adaptable classroom skills, as you will be covering classes for the day. The role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities and work collaboratively with other teachers in the year group. While the roles are day-to-day supply, there will be opportunities for longer-term supply and even permanent roles if successful in a placement. What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a classroom setting within the last 5 years
- Experience teaching in a primary school
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
