Hours - Full Time (Monday to Thursday 8:30 until 5:30)
Contract Type - Long Term Temporary
Start Date - ASAP until end of Summer term with possibility to extend/become permanent
Qualifications - Early Years Teacher Status / Level 3 Qualification in Early Years

A lovely nursery that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Montessori pedagogy. The nursery recently opened last month and is in the early stages of an exciting expansion. The nursery staff are made up of a close supportive team, passionate about children's development and encourage self-development within the team. The nursery environment has been carefully developed to inspire and motivate children to be independent and curious learners. Their unique curriculum follows a child-centred approach which enables the development of the whole child as well as following their individual interests and encouraging them to become independent thinkers.

Your new role
We are looking for a qualified early years teacher to join our team at our nursery in Hove based in our pre-school room.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting and promoting children's early education and development
• Planning and providing effective care
• Teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school
• Making accurate and productive use of assessment
• Developing effective and informed practice
• Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
• Working in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals.

What you'll need to succeed

Early Years Teacher Status or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

At least 1 years of experience working in a nursery setting.

Experience planning curriculum and activities for pre-school aged children

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.

All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
