Practice Manager (Veterinary Experience Required)

We are working with a vet clinic in Watford that are passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and building lasting relationships with their clients. The team is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine, and we are looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to help them continue to grow and deliver excellence in patient care.

They are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager with a strong background in veterinary practice operations. As a key leader in the team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient processes, smooth workflow, and outstanding service to both clients and staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure high morale, productivity, and a positive workplace culture.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring that procedures are followed, resources are utilized effectively, and the clinic runs smoothly.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure the clinic meets its revenue targets while maintaining high-quality service.
• Client Relations: Enhance client experience by ensuring excellent customer service, addressing client concerns, and maintaining a positive and professional clinic reputation.
• Staff Training & Development: Develop training programs, encourage continuous professional development, and ensure staff are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure the practice adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements, including veterinary standards, health & safety regulations, and ethical practices.

Preferred Experience:

• Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant background.
