JobDescription: The PlatformEngineering team manages the platform layer in our global cloudenvironments that serve data and analytics and applicationdevelopment teams across Mars.

The PlatformEngineering Lead role will be responsible for leading a developmentteam in the conception, implementation, and roll out of newsolutions to meet the multi-dimensional needs of our customers,enabling our businesses to pursue aggressive digitalstrategies.

Whatare we lookingfor?

• University degree inthe field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, orequivalent work experience
• Strong experiencewith cloud engineering and/or softwaredevelopment
• Experience building and deployingservices in the cloud
• Proficiency in multiplecoding languages, with a strong preference for hands-on technicalexperience
• Comfortable implementing bothopen-source frameworks and enterpriseapplications
• Strong leadership capabilities,with a collaborative approach to building and maintaininghigh-performing teams
• Solid written and verbalcommunication skills, including the ability to present technicalconcepts to non-technical stakeholders and seniorleadership

Whatwill be your keyresponsibilities?

• Leada team of platform engineers in the delivery of everything frommicroservices architectures to global platformdeployments
• Beaccountable for team deliveries across a diverse portfolio ofprojects and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goalsand technical standards
• Oversee thetechnical direction of projects, from microservices architecturesto global platform deployments
• Design anddevelop tools that enable our customers to build out moreefficient, scalable, and advanced data and analyticssolutions
• Interface with senior leadership andcross functional teams to articulate technicalstrategies
• Become a subject matter expert innew technologies introduced to theplatform
• Leverage product managementframeworks to flesh out businessrequirements

The base pay range for thisposition at commencement of employment is expected to be betweenthe range listed below, however, base pay offered may varydepending on multiple individualized factors, including but notlimited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, andexperience. The total compensation package for this positionmay also include other elements, ifeligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits,participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the positionoffered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-timeschedule, store associate).
